Do I need a logo & typography before starting my website?
In my opinion, no. Many first-time solo creators or entrepreneurs can get couched in the safety net of designing the perfect logo when the truth is you probably don’t have exact clarity yet on what your brand identity should be. I would say let’s create a super simple, free placeholder logo using either Canva or a tool like Free Logo Design, work with the beautiful typography already available in most Divi themes and go from there. The sooner you get clients, the quicker you’ll have clarity and that will inform cohesive branding down the line.
Why do you design websites on Divi and not Squarespace?
It’s a matter of preference. I love variety and ultimate freedom in building a website and Divi not only provides me and the client with a beautiful selection of templates to get started on, but I can then edit and customise every little last detail according to the client’s needs. Not to mention I can insert any content or design feature your brand needs.
Do you also offer web hosting, SEO and design support after ?
I don’t currently offer hosting and SEO, but I can recommend a few good options. Also, because I believe in self-empowerment, as far as possible I do offer Divi and WordPress training once your site is up and running so that you can make edits, adding images and articles or updating your content independently. I also have a few great SEO resources for you. But if you do need web design support after your site is up or in an ongoing capacity I would be happy to assist.
What is CV creation and Resume Design?
It’s the opposite of jamming everything you’ve done into a word text document and left aligning the crap out of it. I send you a CV design survey to complete (Don’t worry, I don’t sell your data! Privacy Policy included!) that provides me with your relevant education info and work experience, as well as an overview of your aesthetic personality as well as your skills levels. I then design you a beautiful 2-page resume that will distinguish your resume from the rest.
